In the past four years, RCTS has actively organized and participated in a range of activities related to translation studies, such as symposiums, seminars, trainings and field trips, etc.. In addition, it has: 1) provided translation services for a number of international meetings and seminars organized by CWU; 2) reached cooperative intention on Translating Chinese Works into Other Languages with the Women’s Oral History Project Group of China Women & Gender Library; 3) finished the translation of the names of all the 2000 courses offered by CWU; 4) undertaken the project of compiling and translating the descriptive information of the core courses of CWU; 5) organized the First Translation and Interpretation Contest of CWU; and 6) coached 4 students to win their prizes at different levels of national translation contests.
