In October 2012,Prof. Li Hongtao, Curator of China Women & Gender Library of CWU, made a presentation on Women’s Oral History Program to RCTS members and reached an understanding for cooperation with RCTS.
In December 2012, RCTS held a symposium on the translation of the academic work, Rose Lore: Essays in Cultural History and Semiotics.
In October 2015, RCTS held a seminar on closing the key project of The Translator’s Gender Awareness in Text Translation and the feasibility of applying for the project of Translating Chinese Works into Other Languages. Present at the meeting were Prof. Han Jiaquan, Senior Translator and Expert Member of the Translators Association of China, Prof. Zhou Yingjiang, Director of the Division of Scientific Research of CWU, and Dr. Li Huibo, Associate Editor of Hearing and Discovering: Women’s Oral History Series.
