Chen Tao Achieves 2016 Grant from National Social Science Foundation

    
    The result of 2016 Research Projects Funded by National Social Science Foundation is released on Jun. 17. Chen Tao, member of RCTS, achieves such a national grant for her research project Bakhtins Outsideness Thoughts in his Literary Theories (Category: Foreign Literature; Grant No.: 16BWW033). To close her project, she is expected to produce a monograph and a translated work. Congratulations to Mme. Chen!
    Chen is one of the founding members of RCTS. In recent years, she has devoted herself to Bakhtin’s thoughts as reflected in his literary theories, and taken an active part in the translation research and practice organized by RCTS. She has co-translated the novel Who is Mr. Satoshi?(《悟史先生之谜》,Modern Press of China Publishing Group, 2012)with another member of RCTS, published a number of research papers. She gets her doctorate from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 2015.
    Chen’s success in applying for the national grant marks that RCTS has stepped up to a new level in terms of its research ability. With the support of all the members and advisors, RCTS is sure to bring out more influential academic achievements.
