The Research Center for Translation Studies (RCTS) of China Women’s University (CWU) was founded in June, 2012. Its guiding principles are:
1. To combine theory with practice. RCTS lays stress on both translation practice and theoretical studies.
2. To integrate teaching with research. RCTS puts emphasis on both acquiring the research inspiration from teaching translation-related courses and applying the findings of academic research to teaching practice.
3. To link exchanges with services. RCTS attaches great importance to academic exchanges and translation services inside and outside the campus.
Having made significant strides in translation practices, activities and services since its founding, RCTS, as a non-profit research institution, is set firmly on the path to more achievements.
